The truth behind netbooks

A few of the other, larger, design blogs are rambling on about netbooks of late. Ohh they are cheap, they are selling because of the credit crunch (whatever the hell that is), you no longer have to make performance sacrifices as even the low end specs are apparently now fast enough. No, no no no. It is far simpler than that: men like to read while on the bog having a crap, and men like the internet, and netbooks do that in a small cheap package. It is really quite simple. Netbooks replace unwieldy newspapers and bulky cheap laptops for perfect toilet reading. Oh, and yes, I wrote this entry on the loo.
